Northstar Link Winter Holiday Hours 2018
Northstar Link Commuter Bus will not operate on the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays and will run a modified schedule for the Friday after Thanksgiving and Monday, Christmas Eve to match the Northstar Commuter Rail train schedule, Route 888. Route 887F will not operate on Nov. 23, the Friday after Thanksgiving. Regular fares apply for all routes.

Northstar Link to serve Twins make-up games
ST. CLOUD — Northstar Link is adding service for four upcoming Twins make-up baseball games.
The first added service will be after the 6:10 pm home game on Monday, May 14. Northstar Link will operate its regular southbound schedule prior to the game. Northstar Rail will run one additional northbound train 30 minutes after the game and Northstar Link will meet the train at the Big Lake Station.

No service Saturday morning at SCSU due to Earth Day events
ST. CLOUD — Due to the Earth Day marathon event, Route 887 will not serve the St. Cloud State University Miller Center in the morning of Saturday, April 21. Northstar Link will continue to serve all other stops, including the Metro Bus Transit Center and the East St. Cloud Park and Ride lot.
Northstar Link bus will run April 15
ST. CLOUD — Northstar Link plans to provide 887 service as regularly scheduled on Sunday, April 15, during the National Weather Service’s Winter Weather Advisory that is in effect until 10 pm, Sunday, April 15.

No Route 887T Friday, April 13 due to Twins game postponed
ST. CLOUD — The Twins have announced that Friday night’s baseball game against the White Sox has been postponed due to inclement weather. As a result, the northbound run of Northstar Link Route 887T is canceled.

NORTHSTAR COMMUTER RAIL, LINK TO SERVE TWINS HOME GAMES IN 2018
ST. CLOUD (4/2/18) –Northstar Commuter Rail and Northstar Link Commuter Bus will provide service for all Minnesota Twins baseball home games at Target Field, starting with the home opener on April 5.
Northstar Link bus service from St. Cloud and Becker is timed to connect with Northstar Line trains at the Big Lake Station. After the game, at either the scheduled departure times or 30 minutes after the end of the game, fans will be able to board the train to Big Lake where the bus will be waiting to bring them back to Becker or St. Cloud. The northbound train will leave Target Field 30 minutes after fireworks show (instead of last out) on June 1, 8 and 22; July 6 and 13; and August 3, 17 and 24.
Northstar Link bus rides cost $2.00 one-way. Northstar Line train fares are paid separately.

Northstar Link to operate as regularly scheduled March 6
ST. CLOUD (3/5/18)— Northstar Link will operate its usual schedule on Tuesday, March 6, despite the National Weather Service’s winter storm warning which remains in effect until 6 am.
LIMITED SERVICE-Northstar Link will shut down after meeting 5 pm train tonight
ST. CLOUD (3/5/18) — Due to the extreme and worsening weather conditions, Route 887 will ONLY meet the first Northstar Commuter Rail train at 4:49 pm tonight in Big Lake. No southbound service will be provided.
“The safety of our passengers and drivers is our number one concern,” said Jim Perez, Chief Operations Officer of Metro Bus, which operates the Northstar Link. “We will do our best to get commuters home before the weather worsens as predicted by the National Weather Service.”
