Weekend and Twins Bus

Becker Bus (Any Direction)

Children 5 and under ride for free (limit 3).

Disabled Veterans ride for free. (The disability has to be “Service Connected” to receive the free ride. It will be identified under the “ID ” photo.)

Northstar Link will not operate on these holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

H O W   T O   R I D E

Pay for your ride after boarding the commuter bus by purchasing your single ride, round trip, 10-ride, or 31-day pass at the fare box on the bus. Fare purchases can only be made with cash. The fare collection system on the commuter bus will accept coins, $1, $5, $10, or $20 bills. In the event of an overpayment for your fare, the fare collection system will issue credit in the form of a debit change card that may be used for future fares. You will be required to pay your fare or swipe your pass before taking your seat.

Northstar Link and Northstar Line fare systems are not compatible. You will be required to pay the Northstar Line fare at the Big Lake station. Click here for more information.

Please wait for others to exit the bus before boarding.

Certain seats are designated for seniors and people with disabilities. Please surrender these seats when needed by these customers.

Strollers and non-motorized bicycles are welcome. Each commuter bus has bicycle storage available underneath, in the passenger luggage compartment areas.

Remain seated throughout the trip. If there is standing room only, hold handrails in case of sudden stops.

Please wait until the bus has come to a complete stop before leaving your seat.

Park & Ride lots and commuter buses do not have restrooms or vending facilities. Northstar Line trains do have restrooms.

Overnight Parking: Allowed in designated locations for up to 7 days.
